Pam's Monthly Insights
November 2005
Hello friends,
Welcome to my newest subscribers, and thanks to those who took time to contact me with thoughts, comments, questions and stories.
My prediction last month was that October would be an eventful month for many of you, especially in the arena of relationships. I said there would be some painful goodbyes and fascinating hellos, some surprising reconnections, and twists and turns you would never have guessed. If you are reading this, you managed to survive the drama and can now look back and see that your life has changed, for some of you, dramatically. For some of you, there is no going back you must now look forward. Today, November 1st is a new moon and a perfect day to imagine what you want to create on this new page. You might even want to write out a few special wishes you would like to see come true before my next newsletter. Things should go smoother this month, but expect a few more twists the middle of November.
I heard from many of you after the A&E special "Mediums-We See Dead People" aired. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Inside Edition did a nice promo for the show, which I missed, but you can read here http://insider.tv.yahoo.com/celeb/insdr20051012t112900003146/
Also, I'm looking for a catchy name for my newsletter. So I will put it out to you. Winner gets a half hour session.

Quotes of the month
Marsha Petrie Sue (The CEO of You)
"Every day is a new beginning. Treat it that way. Stay away from what might have been, and look at what can be."
Joe Sabah
"You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great."

The Question Answer Game
Everyone is psychic to some degree. Shake your head no and argue "not me" if you must. Everyone has had some sort of psychic experience at least once that they can remember. You wouldn't be reading this newsletter if you didn't have an interest or openness to being "psychic." It's part of the human condition and perfectly natural. It's our link to both the world we live in and the world we cannot see. I believe that the answer to any question is deep inside, all we have to do is ask and then listen.
Asking is the easy part. Or is it? I have found in my work that asking is sometimes the tricky part. Knowing the right questions to ask is key in my success as a psychic detective. When I work a case, I run through an amazingly long list of questions in my head. Is the missing person inside or outside? Is it wet or dry? Is the environment manmade or natural? What landmarks are in the area? Can they see the sky? What can they hear? And so it goes. The answers are there, it's the questions that are important.
This is true for any situation you find yourself struggling with. Is this relationship good for me? What feeling do you get in your gut when you ask that question? Do you feel happy and blessed or uneasy? Do you tighten up or relax? Your answer might come in a dream or in the lyrics of a song you keep hearing over and over. Will you get that raise? Ask yourself that question and see how your body responds. Put aside your rational expectations and just listen. For me, the answers come very quickly, almost before I am done phrasing the question. It can be a "knowing" or a gut feeling or I might even get thoughts or pictures in my head that answer the question.
Many times when I do a reading for someone, they already know the answer to the questions they ask me. I am only confirming what they already know. The answers to your questions can come in many forms. It may be as simple as a good feeling or a bad feeling. You may hear a specific answer in your thoughts. You may be thinking about it when a song comes on the radio that seems to be talking to you. You may get a phone call from a friend who says something that gives you your answer. You will get your answer if you know how to listen for it. Only you can learn how your subconscious best communicates with you...so start asking.

Synchronicity
After my article on Synchronicity last month, I just had to share this news story.
Woman Finds Prom Dress 33 Years Later
October 31, 2005 11:25 PM EST
HARRISON, Ark. - Marlene Wyatt went to a second-hand store to buy a Halloween costume last week. What she found could be just as scary. The prom dress she had made 33 years ago.
"I thought, this material looks familiar," Wyatt said. "Then I thought, `Surely not' and finally, `That's my dress!'"
Melissa Martin, proprietor of The Fashion Exchange, said she knew something special had happened because of the look on Wyatt's face.
"This is amazing," she said. "What are the odds of something like this happening?"
Wyatt, from Yellville, sewed the white double-knit polyester dress when she was in high school.
"We come from a large family, 12 kids," she said. "There were five girls at home at the time, so sewing my own clothes was helpful, but I always loved doing it." Wyatt said the dress has the one of the first invisible zippers she ever sewed.
Martin opened The Fashion Exchange about a month ago. She doesn't remember where she got the dress, which she had labeled "Way Retro" in her inventory.
Wyatt now has it in her sewing room.

In My Corner
I want to use this column to introduce you to the special people who help me behind the scenes. This month I want to introduce Angela Batten of Dogs South K-9 Search and Rescue. If you saw the A&E special, you got to meet Angela, or Angie as I call her. Never mind what she calls me. Actually, Angie calls me "Princess" because she swears I never get dirty on our searches. Not true, I just don't get as dirty as she does and I'm afraid of gators. LOL
Angie and I have been working together for close to two years now, along with her three dogs, Zena, De De and Mick. Angie and her husband Tony are dedicated volunteers and help several law enforcement agencies in Georgia. After working on the same difficult case separately in Florida, we decided to team up. So many times I have been in the woods searching and wished I had cadaver dogs to help. Angie said she had long felt the same way. If only she had some direction on where the dogs should be searching. You can check out Dogs South here http://www.orgsites.com/ga/dogs-south/. I think we make a winning team.
Angie, Zena and DeDe are now helping with recovery efforts in Mississippi and Louisiana.

Media Attention! Tonight!! Dream Decoders
Remember my friend and coachee, Dr. Marcia Emery? Her fascinating new show airs this month on Tuesday nights on Discovery Health Channel. (Not all cable subscribers get this channel) . Don't miss Dream Decoders at 8:00 p.m.. Nov 1st, 8th and 15th.
I begin filming this month for a new series which will be airing in 2006. I'll tell you more, when I am given permission. All I can say is we are working on 12 episodes so you'll be seeing a lot more of me in your living rooms next year.
I also have a book deal in the works, so look for updates on that as well. I would be interested in your opinions on which book you would rather see. A book that describes my beginnings into this field and battle with religious upbringing along with some interesting cases I've worked, OR a book about how to find missing persons through psychic and practical means. Your feedback is appreciated: contact me.

Pam's Book Review
My favorite book this month ... drum roll please: Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway by Susan Jeffers, Ph.D.
"What is it for you? Fear of public speaking, asserting yourself, making decisions, intimacy, changing jobs, being alone, aging, driving, losing a loved one, ending a relationship?" The list goes on and on.
Why do I love this book? Because following your intuition can sometimes require great courage. Because reaching for your dreams may require you to step outside your comfort zone. Because faith requires, well faith. This book will help you find your power.
