Hello friends,
Welcome to my newest subscribers and my long time readers. Big changes are happening in my world since Sensing Murder is now in full production. Unfortunately, I must stop booking personal readings for the months of May and June because my schedule is just too full. Sorry. I have a couple of special associates I can recommend if you don't want to wait. I am also starting a waiting list for July and August. You will see this reflected on my web site but more importantly please note that I have a new email address and will be phasing out Earthlink. Change is a big theme in my life right now so I am going to write about the positive power of change. Also to break with tradition, I'm going to recommend a music CD rather than a book this month.

The Positive Power of Change
Let's face it, we are all creatures of habit. That's fine until we become so entrenched in our ways that we stop having new experiences. New experiences keep us growing and stimulate us. If you think about your favorite restaurant for example, you will realize that it was brand new to you once. You decided to try it that first time. What if you hadn't? If you drive to work the exact same route the exact same time every day you are missing out on new sights and new people. You could be living blocks away from your soul mate or new best friend and never know it because you both stay within your set routine, schedule and route. Do new people literally have to find their way to your office or front door? If you think about it, and your answer is yes, then you need to shake things up. Your assignment this month is to go someplace new once a week. It could be a new restaurant you've driven by many times, a different grocery store or gas station, a new boutique or art gallery or book store. You may even make a simple change like listening to a new radio station (or buy a new CD) for your commute to work. Small change helps lead the way to bigger change.
Now think about one thing in your life that you're not particularly crazy about. How can you bring change to the situation? Once again starting small is key. For me, I hate grocery shopping. I'd rather be just about anywhere, so I often visit different stores across town where I will see new people and different products and have to deal with different layouts. That keeps it from being so boring to me. I may decide to shop online and have them deliver the groceries to me or I may stop at a quick mart for a few items I can't do without. The point is, I can't change the fact that the family needs groceries but I can change the way I shop. What changes can you make to bring a little more pleasure into your life? It really is a choice.
Once you learn to make small changes, you will be ready for bigger more daring changes. My hair stylist once told me that she knew when a client was getting ready to make a big change in her life (especially an emotional one) because the client would make a drastic change in her hair style or color. I found this interesting as I made a pretty drastic change in my hair style and color when we started filming Sensing Murder.

Most of the things that hold you back do so with your
cooperation. When you choose to stop giving power to your
limitations, many of them disappear.

of those negative assumptions have you actually tested?

can and what you think you can't do?

moment, to move toward that dream? You'd quickly realize
that many of the obstacles you imagined, are not even there.
Yes, there are always challenges, and yet they are rarely as
difficult or imposing as you imagine. Step boldly forward to
meet them, and you'll find yourself moving successfully
though them.
Without a doubt, you have what it takes to reach whatever
place you choose to go. Just get started and you'll know.

Sensing Murder is still in full production. Discovery Channel has decided to air the Pilot episode on July 6th. The rest of the series will air starting in September with the new fall lineup. We have filmed five episodes and will complete six and seven this month. The filming and travel schedule has been grueling so if I've been slow to respond to emails please forgive me. Laurie Campbell and I are not allowed computer access while we are filming so we cannot research the cases we are working on. Discovery channel is working hard to keep the protocol clean for this show and I am grateful. So far we have filmed in California, Colorado and Oregon and a few of the locations have been breathtaking, take Park County, Colorado for example.

Pam's Music Review
My dear friend David Castle has just released his new CD, "Music for your Soul." David's music really is for the soul and has healing qualities composed into it. "Music for your Soul" is available at Amazon.com and CDBaby.com.
For those who don't recognize the name, David used to tour with the Monkeeys! Hey, hey. David Castle also wrote the famous song, "Istanbul Blues" which was featured in the Academy Award winning motion picture Midnight Express. In 1978 David was nominated for a Grammy for "Album of Best Original Score Written for a Motion Picture or TV Special" for his participation in the Midnight Express soundtrack. This CD is special to me because I predicted it some years ago. David and I met several years ago when he saw my documentary on Final Destination and contacted me. We became fast friends and I have been privileged to hear him play privately. What a treat, treat, treat! David even performed "Istanbul Blues" for me and my kids. I went to David's recent record release party and got to hear him perform many songs from this new album. Check it out and enjoy!
